2nd International Conference on Languages, Linguistics and Society (ICLALIS 2018)
Language is a distinctly human characteristic, central to all human social organization. It is the medium through which humans shape their identities, relate to one another, and construct social realities. The conference will focus on the ways that language and linguistics impact and affect society in an era where traditional methods or existing thoughts and patterns are challenged by new disruptive technologies in diverse contexts such as communication, education, science, politics, governance, policy making, nation building, heritage maintenance, business and trade, and various other fields. Hence we welcome paper presentations that revolve around current research that discuss among others the achievements, advancements, challenges, or prospects of language, linguistics, and society in the era of disruptive technologies.
