AALITRA SYMPOSIUM 2019: TRANSLATING TRADITIONAL TALES AND FOLKLORE

The 2019 Symposium will explore methods and protocols for translating Australian Indigenous languages, the translation of French and Swedish traditional tales and the particular experience of translating a unique book from the Persian (Farsi) – ‘a form of literary experimentation’ ‘incorporating myth and folklore’… 

UNESCO’s International Year of Indigenous Languages and the ILF (Indigenous Literacy Fund) will be highlighted and books mentioned by speakers will be available for purchase.
